It doesn’t happen often around where I live that one comes across a decent deal on used equipment of toys. There just isn’t the same numbers as in larger centers where people are constantly buying and flogging. However, every now and then, one can get lucky.

It happened for me yesterday. I timed it just right to come across an ad on a facebook group for a General 6 inch jointer. Looked at it last night, and promptly paid the man and loaded it in the truck. This thing is practically new. Not a mark on the blades, just a couple drops of contact cement on the table. They retail around $900.00 Canadian. I picked it up for $450.00!

Very, Very happy. Only sad part, I had to store it at a friends house until my new shop is finished. no room for it currently.

Sounds like you did very well, congrats. The most important part is that YOU”RE happy, sometimes these conversations about tool deals overlook that little detail. Enjoy!
