I'd hoped that the "-----Ancient Post----Clearing it from the zero answered forums list----" across the top would make it clear that this was an old post and was being revisited to work at clearing out the backlog of old posts. It is unfortunate that my post has irked you, my revisiting these posts is certainly not meant to annoy anyone.
There is no backlog of old posts. You're screwing with the forum by churning up old stuff to push down current posts. No one is helped by bumping a post about a meeting that happened 7 years ago. Go do some woodworking, spend time with your family, take up a new hobby, or read a book. This isn't constructive.
Thank you for voicing your opinion of the utility of clearing the old unanswered posts. I agree the 7 year old meeting was of no interest to anyone but yourself and I. In posting my response I thought it would only be a fleeting blip in the flow of articles on LJ I didn't think it would significantly "push down current posts". Thank you for making me aware of this possibility.
Please don't bump old posts without a very good reason.
Bumping a 7 year old post brings no value to the community. It only knocks new posts down the list.
