Hello all fellow lumberjocks!
I want to thank those who have personally welcomed me to the club. I really think this place is for me, I’m an amateur but always tackling new and untried projects. I really love this place so far and it’s only been a couple of days. I use AutoCAD r14 for my design work and mostly work in pine but I am transitioning into oak and the finer woods when I have the $$$. So far I have designed and built about 30 or so projects over the past 12 years or so. Getting better every job, I think? I work in the structural engineering field so a least I can ask a PhD if the pergola is going to withstand windloads at 10’ in the air and know I’ll get a good answer:-)
Thanks again to all of you and I look forward to posting projects and viewing projects.
Good to be home.
