Can some one tell me the difference between PC 390K - PC394

The only difference that I can see between the 2 is Hook & Loop Pad, Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Pad ???
they want $30 more for the 390K & I see its becoming very limited…

The only thing I can think is the holding strenth..

with all Porter Cable tools, a “K” on the end of a part number indicates a kit versus a bare tool. In this case however, I think the only other part of the kit is a plastic storage box. The difference between a 390 and 394 is the H&L versus self-adhesive paper.
