I have bought a Craftsman 10” radial arm saw. Model 11329401. Can anyone tell me when those were build/sold?

Thank you all.

Greetings: I have a Craftsman 10” ras with the same serial #—-nearly. Mine’s a 113.296, and was made in the mid 80’s. I bought mine brand new in 1985, but it could have been built eariler, say 83-84…don’t know for sure, but it’s at least an 1985 model. I’ve had it now about 25 years, and it’s a real workhorse in my shop. At least then it was “Made in America”.

I’m not sure how many years it was built, but I do know the Craftsman 113.29401 was built in 1963.

Here’s a pdf of the owner’s manual if you’re interested.

Greetings…. Somethings screwy somewhere. I told you wrong on my ras serial # It’s 113.197..not 296. My saw doesn’t look anything like the pdf manual that John posted. It says 1963, but has a later serial #... that don’t make sence. Mine’s an eariler serial #, but a later model…. hhhuuummmm? But I bought it in 1985.

I know there was a recall on a lot of Craftsman RAS . You might want to check out the Emmerson recall info. I think you can get about $100 for the recall if you send them the motor. They will send you a box, prepaid, to take care of it.

I don’t think that those are serial numbers, they are model numbers with 113 denoting the manufacturer. 113 = Emerson.

Go to http://www.owwm.com/ They were able to help me out and I found that mine was made is 1958 and still works great. They were able to tell me where I could also get a manual for it.

I have a 113.29440 Craftsman RAS. I bought it new in 1971, suspect yours is an earlier manufacture. But looking at the manual from John Steffan, it looks basically the same.

This is a cast iron brute. Built to last. I know, because I used mine a lot today, nearly 40 years old. Unless it has been abused, you have a good item.

Yes. I did have some difficulty doing that. I can’t get a photo to go on the forum.
