I have been considering the grizzly g0715p or possibly the G0690 if the budget allowed. I came across this today and wanted to get some feedback/thoughts before proceeding. Not sure on condition as I have not seen in person, but does this look like a better saw/deal? Mayne get this for cheaper than asking price as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, looking to buy a quality saw by June, so I have some time to shop.

Don’t you love it when a CL poster stages their photos so well?? HA! Wonder if the leaf blower and all the other junk on top of it is included?!? From what can be seen it looks to be in pretty good shape unless the junk is hiding the flaws. If you look at it and it functions well and is good shape I’d probably take it over the Grizzly. The rails look nice and long and I’ll bet that motor will be strong enough that you’ll never need anything else. The only draw back I could think of is that this one may be old enough that it doesn’t have a riving knife. I still think I’d go with the Powermatic myself. But I’m by no means a TS expert, I bet knotscott will chime in soon and I’d take his advice over mine :)

From a glance, it looks to a be nice deal. It’ll probably go fast. Worth a call and a look IMO.

I would buy a good used Powermatic table saw over a Grizzly any day. If the saw is in good condition and complete; $1200 is a good price.

I would jump on that deal if it runs good.I own a couple of Powermatic 66 table saws and they are excellent and will last far longer than a Grizzly or I will. The last one I bought new in mid 90’s and it as $3200.Never a problem with it.
