Topic tags/keywords: band saw parts

Does anyone know what happened to Steel City? Is there a source for band saw parts? I’m thinking of buying one of these off of CL and it needs a new trunion.

Out of business. Parts for planers and bench top jointers are available from Cutech. Ereplacement parts might have band saw parts.
What do you need?

The new company has many replacement parts. You can call them to find out the cost if you can provide a model and serial number.

dbw,

Try emailing Terry at parts@steelcitytoolworks.com He works for Nordis, the Canadian company that bought the assets. I know for a fact that before the doors closed here, they had taken a couple of boxes of trunnions up north.

Also, believe it or not, I found some here on Amazon. You’ll just need to do a little measuring.

What is the model of B-saw you are looking at? I have a SCTW 14” bandsaw and just happen to have a spare trunnion lying around that I could sell if it’s the right model. (email: techservices@cutechtool.com)
