Does anybody know anything about this show scheduled for 3/27/10 & 3/28/10? Woodworking Show I’m thinking of attending but it is a long drive from New Hampshire and I’d like to know if it’s worth the trip.

I am planning on attending. Here is a link I found on a scroll saw forum. The Adirondack Woodturners holds a totally turning event in conjunction with the show each year as well.

Hello Tom;
Mainly it depends on what your looking for in woodworking….but from my experience over many years, this show has a lot to offer.

If you recognize any of these woodworking demonstrators then this is only a small part of what this show offers.

David Ellsworth: Ernie Conover: Christopher Schwarz: Phil Lowe

And here is a link to the show and the demonstrators:

Here is a link to the schedule for these demonstrators and all this is included for the price of the ticket, ($8.00).

Hope to see you there….;

Hi Tom,

This will be my 4th trip to the show. It’s a 3 hour drive for me and I do the show in one day. I head out around 7am and get back before 10pm. For me, the workshops, galleries and vendors are always worth it. Most of the workshops/demos are not overcrowded, so you can get close and ask questions and sometimes try using the presenter’s tools. I’ve had some great conversations with the pros and showcase woodworkers. Always come away with something (including tools a few times). Saratoga is also a beautiful place with some great restaurants.

It’s great that Frank will be an exhibitor this year. I’ve enjoyed Frank’s postings on LJs for years and didn’t know he went to that show.

OK, I’m convinced and will be there. Thanks for the input.
