Anyone who’s been on LJ’s for long – know I’m not the best with electronics and the associated particulars. So now I’m stuck on Amazon and need a little help. I ordered a product – it says it’s shipped and it to arrive 4/4 which is well past. I’ve tried to find a number or email to contact Amazon about the order but I cannot find one. I’ve tried going through the product maker but they just tell me to get with Amazon as it was shipped through Amazon.

In all the years I’ve been ordering on Amazon – this is the very first time I’ve ever had a problem. So I have no really big complaints – but this one has me stumped.

So does anyone have a magic email or an old-fashioned phone number to contact Amazon? I’m just about to the pulling the my hair out stage.

Thanks in advance.

Amazon home page

Your orders is at the the bottom right on desktop site and near the very bottom on mobile.

Find your particular order and the options should be listed on the order. After clicking on the order I think.

Betsy, go into your account in Amazon and find the order in Your Orders. You will find a place to file an A to Z claim. Click on that.

..But before you can file a claim you are required to try to resolve the issue by contacting the seller. There will be a place on that page to contact the seller. After you do that, if you haven’t heard back from the seller in, say, a week, you can file an A to Z claim. Good luck.

When I have done this, I choose the option to get my refund in the form of an Amazon gift card. That way there is no delay.

+1 888-280-4331 – they should be able to refund or replace on the call.

Thanks again – I just called that number and within about 2 minutes I had a refund! I should have come onto this site when I first had the issue – I would have been less frustrated trying to figure it out.

I appreciate your help!

Lucas – that number is going into my contacts list. Hope I don’t need to use it—- but you never know.

You are confusing Amazon and eBay. Amazon handles any complaint promptly. EBay requires you to wait.

Betsy, wasn’t there a tracking number?
I do not know exactly where you live but in many neighborhoods an Amazon box is fair game to would be thieves!

There’s also the chance that the shipping carrier (FedEx? or UPS? ) may have left your package with the Post Office. They do that around here frequently.

And the Post Office will add a couple days to the delivery time (which almost NEVER shows in the shipping time-line on your computer)

So you MIGHT just get it in a day or so.

Betsy, I’m just now seeing this. I’m glad it all worked out.
I worked there for 14 years and started out in customer service(before they buried the phone #) and I can guarantee whoever you got on the end of the line was positively giddy that all you wanted was a refund. Even in old ‘98 that was one of the easiest things to do for customers.
