i dunno bout sprays, but 90% of the people I’ve asked love Johnsons Paste Wax for saw tops

I second that. Keep a can in the drawer with the wrench and extra inserts. About once a month use it with some fine steel wool. Let it dry and rub it a bit.. Works great.

paste wax 1st then top coat later for up keep!

I agree with whats been said. A good coat of non silicon past wax works great. It also keeps the surface slick so the wood slides well on it.
