Topic tags/keywords: bevel-up jack jack plane user stanley

I’m looking for a good quality Stanley #5 or #5 1/2 variant (bedrock, corrugated, etc) Jack plane OR a Veritas BU Jack. Does anyone have any they are hoping to sell?

Thanks for the suggestion waho6o9. I had actually checked Don’s site earlier today and unfortunately he doesn’t have any Stanley jacks listed right now.

I think I might have one. I’ll check when I get home in 3-4 hours.

I have a Stanley Bailey #5-1/2C that is complete and in good shape, but needs light restoration/clean up (rust removal, refinish the wood, sharpening and tuning). I’m finishing up a project this weekend and then was going to tackle a few planes, including that one. It’ll probably be ready to ship in a week or so. PM me if you are interested.

I’m sorry but apparently I promised it to someone else.

I have quite a few 5s, nothing that has been tuned up. the best bang for the buck I have are a few K5s bedrocks. I have a good wartime Stanley that has the larger depth wheel that needs a new tote or a repair the chunk missing on the bottom of it. Shoot me a message of what your looking for and a pricerange

Jeff, I’m interested in your #5, but for the moment I’m pursuing a #5 1/2 that JayT is going to rehab.
