This is a sample I recorded a while ago. I was just “messin’ around” in the studio and came up with this. PLAY IT WITH SOME GOOD SPEAKERS SO YOU CAN REALLY GET THE BASS!! I have the feeling this sample will turn into a cool song in the future…I just have to pry myself away from the woodshop and get back in the studio. The .flv file is converted from an mp3 sample so I can upload it to the LJ site from photobucket….it’s just audio of me playing the fretless Bass guitar you see below. Enjoy!...

And by the way, I don’t expect anyone who is a true LJ at heart would plagiarize anyone else’s work, but ya never know…Please respect my rights as a musician to this sound sample, and don’t go sellin’ it on EBAY…LOL

Check out my project page here.

OK, SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO UPLOAD THIS!! I HAD TO DOWNLOAD SOME SOFTWARE THAT WOULD CONVERT FROM MP3 TO A PHOTOBUCKET COMPATIBLE FILE FORMAT, AND THEN I HAD TO WAIT FOR IT TO UPLOAD.

ENJOY!!!!!!!! AND TELL ME IF IT REALLY STINKS!!! ;-D

It really stinks. You’re a talentless hack. Box up that bass and send it to Alberta, Canada. I’ll dispose of it for you. I thought it sounded pretty good, actually.

Like one of my old jazz instructors would say, “Crazy.” “Hip.” Actually, I think it’s a great sound—good balance between brightness and power—Stanley Clarke, move over! What pickups are you using?
