Topic tags/keywords: festool domino tool

So I’ve finally done it…I pulled the trigger on a new Festool domino. Now I’m looking at the domino cutter/tenon assortments and just realized there are two version of the kit—a 4 cutter kit that goes down to 5mm and a 5 cutter kit down to 4mm.

Because I don’t see myself joining pieces with this much thinner than 1/2”, I not sure the 4mm would be as useful as having the extra 5mm tenons. However, since I’ve never used this tool, I thought I’d ask some folks who have for their opinion.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Hey Patrick, I did the same thing today and was wondering the same question.

I am curious how other Domino users handle dust collection.
