I have a partially restored Powermatic 50 6” jointer for sale, Houdaille/Green and white ERA. I bought it last summer and started the restoration and winter came. In the meantime I acquired a 12” jointer, which now leaves me to find a good home for the Powermatic 50.
The fence, beds, base and guard have been stripped and repainted black and white. Has been partially reassembled. Buyer would still have some assembly. The hardware and cutter head were freshly cleaned before winter hit but could probably use a quick cleaning before re – assembly. Needs a 1hp motor which can be bought for 100$ or less. Quality vintage machine cheap for someone that doesn’t mind a cpl hrs worth of work.
Look at how clean the tables and fence look. I cleaned, polished and waxed them so well I haven’t had to touch them in almost a year. Not to mention the detail in that paint job. I doubt you could find anyone to do a paint job like that for 100$ alone. 8) :P 8)
