looking to buy a new table saw and looking at both of these saws. I would like to here some opinions on which saw is best for the money.

Jet is currently “in a better place” as a business IMO. The Proshop also has cabinet mounted trunnions, more robust underpinnings, a fairly comparable fence, and more field history. The Delta has wheels. If the price is close, I like the Proshop design better…the guts are really similar to the Laguna Fusion’s but has a better fence than the Fusion.

Here’s a good pic of the Fusion under-pinnings….the Jet’s should be really similar:

Here’s a look at the 36-725 under-pinnings..AFAIK, the 36-5000 uses the same, but has a slightly beefier motor:
