I am in Cincy and constantly scouring all the CL’s in two hours range for my next saw as I just sold my Grizzly 1022… I saw that ad the other day and just shook my head :-)

Folks, the real value is the ultra super rare Bubba & Jim Bob Co. table saw stand, it is a priceless artifact.

Isn’t that an old “General” table saw?? If so, they were very good table saws…

You guys must not have read the ad completely. It says very clearly right there at the bottom that it is an “Awesome deal”.

To be fair, the fence looks decent and it does have a cast iron top. It might be a decent saw if given a little TLC. I’d spend $250 on it before I would a plastic/aluminum jobsite saw.

That fence looks a lot like the one that was original on my 1950’s Craftsman 8 inch. Now that it has a vega fence it is a great saw.

It defiantly needs some TLC. I had to click on the link in Yeti’s comment to make sure it wasn’t mine. lol

I agree with Kenny, It might make a decent table saw if somebody wanted to take the time and trouble. I bought a old used one, didn’t pay anywhere near that for it. Got mine and a powered miter saw for $100. It turned out okay. Heavier than you would ever believe, but that’s what you want with a stationary saw. Mine is old, almost as old as I am.

This is what it looked like when I got it…..

and this is what it looks like now….

Then again, I just spent less than $175. building my own portable table saw.
