So I just purchased a brand new Grizzly track saw. I believe it just came out and so they have a sale going on, you could buy a mini track saw for $115. The normal size track saw is $189 (saw only, no track or other accessories included). I figured the mini would be fine because I’m just using it to rip straight lines. Full plunge cut is 1 1/8in, so I don’t know why i would need a full size track saw. Well it just arrived today so after I get to use it a little bit, I’ll post on how well it works

The $115 price includes the saw, tracks, clamps (to clamp track down) and 4 different saw blades.
The mini tracks are only 24in long, but the master pack includes 2 of them and a rail connecter.

Mini track saw- master pack

Full size track saw, no rails

Full size track saw master pack

Just wanted to let everyone know the great deal

Thanks I appreciate it.

When I saw the deal for $115. I got so excited, I’ve been looking for a track saw. Everyone is approx $400 +/-
I never got one cause there are other tools I would rather purchase with that much money. So happy I stumped across this Grizzly bought it right away for that price. I’m just surprised no one else has had any interest in it so far. Lol guess it wasn’t as good as a deal than I thought it was.

The biggest appeals of track saws is their ability to break down sheet goods. The mini-track saw only comes in 2ft track lengths. You’d have to use 4 of those tracks to rip a piece of plywood. And even then, there’s no extra on either end of the sheet of plywood, so you’d have to hang the saw off of either end a bit to cut fully through. That was my reasoning for going for the full size one.

The full size grizzly setup is under $300 and I think its still an awesome deal

Correct. That is the one that I have. It needs some modifications to it to work better, though. You aren’t getting festool cut quality at that price point.
