First time poster, rather than continue an old thread this is about replacing the rollers on my DW734 planer. On another thread an answer from Alex said to place a board on end and crank the roller assembly down to relieve the spring pressure to remove the rollers, my question to Alex is shouldn’t I have the wide part of the board touching the rollers rather than the narrow edge of the board. I tried to send a message to Alex to ask him but being a newbie I need to have 5 post before sending any messages

mrelmo,

I cannot answer your question. But if you need more posts to email Alex, then answer my post herein. Then post something about your workshop. That may give you 3 of the 5 posts you need – not sure but maybe worth a try. Maybe responding to few others will get you over the top.

Have your say...
