Started assembly on the Grizzly 1023RL today. Had to run into town for a while so did not finish yet. I am somewhat confused by the attachment of the rail tube. I got to that point and then quit for the day since it was 6 o’clock. The manual for the rails indicates it probably should be shimmed with washers, but not enough are provided. I am a little confused why they would make it so it would have to be shimmed and also why the directions say 4-6 washers and then try the fence. It is going to be somewhat difficult to get those shims on each bolt and the idea that you might have to do it more than once isn’t real pleasant. Also I am confused at how far over the tube is to be. There are 5 holes but you only use 4.
