Topic tags/keywords: delta 36-714 table saw

I have been looking for a good quality table saw for a while. I came across this saw today, which is more than I ever have thought about spending (at least at this point)
The price tag on it is $1200 but she said they would take $1000. I looked this up on some forums but the saws people had been asking about weren’t in that great of condition and didn’t have these accessories.

Is this a good deal?

Fence doesn’t lock right now, which I assume is just an adjustment issue.

No way. That’s what it cost new. It’s a 10-12 year old hybrid with table mounted trunnions, connecting rods, no modern riving knife, and no warranty. They’re simply asking more than it’s worth IMO. The fence is good, and the saw is decent, but they’re asking more than you can a buy a new G0715P. $700 is about tops what I’d consider for that…..$600 is more reasonable. FWIW, I sold my 22124 with the same fence, cabinet mounted trunnions, router table, and mobile base for $600 a few years back.

Jet Proshop

If you have 220v, the Griz G1023RL is more substantial than any of these, and is a far better value than a Delta hybrid for $1000 IMO.

Is this a good deal?

No… not even close to one either.

Cheers,
Brad
