I have two of them. One with the extension and one just vertical. Quality products!

Joe—Based on the text, I am guessing that 0.002 smoots is between 22,000 and 31,000 microinches, but I am certainly not experienced on the use of this tool.

A smoot is the metric equivalent 3 picocubits

Here I learned that one smoot is equal to Oliver Smoot’s height on October 1958, 5 feet 7 inches.

Being an MIT grad, I can confirm that it’s 5’7”.

Doesn’t everyone (except Harvard grads) know that?
