Topic tags/keywords: table saw riving knife vibration noise non-through cut

Just fixed the rip fence scale indicator fix, but now a new issue is here. I can’t find a fix to this issue online. After making a non-through cut, the riving knife started to vibrate whenever the saw is turned on, and when feeding stock through. I have a lot of work to do, and hope I can get this fixed. In case you guys can tell from before, I don’t tolerate down time in my shop :-) This is a great saw, I don’t anticipate any more issues after this one.

It may be helpful to know what table saw you have? If it’s a Ridgid 4512 I had a similar experience.

Tighten it up or take it off. You sure seem to be having issues with that thing… what kind of saw is it?

It’s actually been perfect until now, I’ve really enjoyed it. The last issue was just modifying the plastic sheet with the indicator line to align, just a little sandpaper needed :-) as for this, I have no idea where it came from. It’s a Kobalt 15-Amp 10-in Table Saw.

Have your say...
