I NEED this saw. Have an 1852 house, that I SWEAR to post projects with loads of pictures of, if someone, anyone, can help me find one of these. Calling all HD executives & Ridgid executives! I’m in New England, but have plenty of miles left in my gas guzzling SUV. Have searched every craigslist east of the Mississippi. Thanks in advance LJ’s!

Better gas up the SUV…

Stop by on your way through and I’ll buy your lunch.

More details in a couple hours, but after calling over 30 Home Depot stores, I believe I’ve located one. One that, in fact, the store itself didn’t know they had. Hell hath no fury like a closet, urban woodworker. More later….

Life is good! Thank you LJ’ers. Went to Home Depot’s website & printed out the 30 nearest Home Depot to my location. Called (very early), and spoke to Pro Desks. Found a really nice guy who was not too busy and sensitive to my plight, and he searched all 30 stores for me while on the phone. It was not that hard for him, as I had all the store numbers handy. Long story short: There was 1 out of all the stores searched and it’s now in my car. Used the Lowe’s 10% coupon (found at any local post office’s moving kit), and yes, I’m rockin’ a shiny new R4511 for $269+ tax. God bless the internet.
