Topic tags/keywords: humor question resource

Who decided to take some bug poop, soak it in alcohol, and tried it for finishing?
Hmmmm? Let’s take some cow hooves, boil ‘em, and see if it will stick two pieces of wood together.
Uhhhh! There’s some tree sap. I think that I’ll figure a way to dissolve it in some stuff. HAH! I’ve made varnish!
Wait! There’s some dirt. Nice color. Why don’t I mix it with some milk. That’ll look nice on my blanket chest.

Just some of the things I think about while I’m waitin’ for the next Stumpy Nubs video.

Interesting thinking, Bill. How about the first guy to eat an oyster?

Bill, I had a hard to please customer one time that didn’t want any color of stain that I had. Didn’t want anything available down at the lumber yard ether. So the next day I made them a test piece with something different and they bought it. I used shoe polish. Had to tell them it was a special blend or I’m sure they would have rejected to shoe polish idea too.

I am pretty sure that the first person to try some foods, say haggis, did so as the result of losing a bet.

...or cheese. You know, essentially milk that’s gone bad, solidified, and then started to grow! Yikes, no thanks; another sabertoothed tiger steak for me, please.

So you collect the beans from this bush ….. but you don’t eat them. You do roast them but you still don’t eat them. Next you decide it would be a good idea to grind them up and soak them in hot water …... but you still don’t eat them.
In fact after all this trouble you decide to chuck them out and drink the hot water. ........ Go figure ???

An equally corny question about those big seed pods: You throw away the outside, then cook the inside, then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. How did that come about?

Why is Pumpkin Pie never made with a top crust? If some horrible cataclysm starts in Western WA and eats the world sometime this November, I’ll all be my fault.

Someone found some black goo seeping out of the ground and thought, “What can I use this stuff for?”, not knowing someone after him will drill for more of it, and started a thing I would not want to discuss here (per forum rules).

Those leaves: There not raised for salads or anything else you would use leaves in, no, someone thought it would be smart to dry, grind, and stuff them into paper tubes, burn them, and inhale the smoke.

Well, while we are asking questions consider this: “How deep would the ocean really be if there were no sponges in it?”
