I’m debating purchasing the Hammer A3-26 and wondered if any of you fellas have had recent experience with Hammer and the machine. I spoke with them and it will fit in the small space I have left over in my garage that’s crammed with too many tools and 3 cars. Can’t seem to get anyone to give me a price on shipping from their location to the west coast. Anyone have a ballpark figure for shipping? How has the A3-26 worked for you?

You might post on the Hammer Felder owners group board:
http://www.hammerfelderowners.com/

And the FOG forum as well, several members have various Hammer and Felder machines and may have some helpful insight for you…

Seems odd the supplier cant quote freight cost, I would estimate $2-300 for a large heavy machine

Thanks for the info. I belong to FOG but wasn t aware of hammerfelder forum.

Its a newer forum so there might not be too much activity, the forum was started by another FOG member, but lately he has been MIA from both.

From all the reviews and discussion I have seen, Hammer makes top notch machines. Good luck!

I am familiar with the older panel saws but not that particular model, but they seem to be pretty rugged machines.
