Has anyone had anything to do with cabinet refacing lately? I know it was a minor rage a few years back, but since then I’ve been doing other things and was wondering what the state of affairs with it is.

I DID not that Quality Doors (MASCO) went belly up last year, and they were supposed to be top of the line. That was the group that supplied Lowes with refacing products.

I know Rockler does it, but who else?

Thanks,

Milo

If the veneer is torn up you will just have to replace it. Or if it’s not I use a product from Howard Products called restor-a-finish and follow up with another one of there products called feen-n-wax

Guess I should have checked my spelling. It’s Restore-a-finish and feed-n-wax.

Sunriver industries in Kent Wa does mine & super cheap too. Depending on where you are you should be able to find a source, otherwise they all ship to you. By the time I boult all the router/shaper bits & wood they could make it for just a little more, they also have a finish shop that will custom stain match & spray if you send them a sample.

I’m hoping to find someone on the east coast. There’s Walzcraft, but I am not sure they will sell direct or not. I think they might, plus I still have my tax id, so who knows… ;-)
