Ordered a Jet 6" jointer during the sale

I had three new Jet machines delivered in January that I purchased during the Black Friday sale in 2015, they use a smaller shipper who takes the freight from JPW in Tennessee and then hands off the freight to an even smaller local company for delivery. Kind of annoying, I would prefer that they use a larger carrier who can take it from point A to point B all the way. At any rate, keep on them about it. Worst case you can make a claim back to your credit card company.

Make sure you check out your machine thoroughly when you get it. Like I said I got three factory new machines, all 3 had QC issues. (And not nit picky paint chip stuff, problems that make them inoperable)

I have occasionally had delivery problems like this. My feeling is that I ordered it and it is up to the seller to get it delivered (for which I am paying, by the way). I don’t request a certain delivery company (nor companies) because I really don’t care. Every time I have had a similar problem the seller has agreed and done whatever had to be done to take care of it.

I got a phone call today. My jointer is to be delivered tomorrow. Now I hope it arrives in good condition.
