Is it ok to put a sealer (like maybe spar varnish) over watco oil ?

Brent, it’s not a problem at all. That’s been my go to finish for years. I even mix the Watco with spar varnish to make a wipe on finish.

Just make sure the oil is dry first.

Minimum of 72 hours for the oil to dry.
