Has anyone had a severe whistling sound coming from this blade? I am using a Minimax SC4 elite slider and I love the blade, but cannot stand the noise level. The high pitch squeal is more then my ear muffs can handle. I have never heard of such a thing…I tried calling Forrest a couple times today and nobody picks up it just rings and rings. I’ll try again, Thanks,

Most good blades sing when they’re happy. The pitch is high because of number of teeth. Freud blades have laser cuts to reduce singing, are your cuts filled with sap or pitch? How much blade are you showing? Crank down to the bottom of the gullets. Also if the surface of the blade is dry, it will be noisier than a waxed blade.
