Hi there, I recently started posting on here blogging and what not.

I’ve been taking picture with a Nikon D-80 and uploading to photo bucket, when I like the picture to here in a blog or project it crops the photo and it is never centered so a lot of the time I lose what i’m trying to show!

any suggestions?

Is there a certain resize I should do in photobucket?

Thanks all

What process are you using to imbed the photos? I am using flickr and have not had any issues.

try to resize to 640×480, that’s how we all do it in here, you should be ok,

also this might help you here

Gary K wrote a great blog on the process;

I am just now reading and learing how to properly post pics and Gary K. seem to have it figured out.

Nice camera, I just got that one! I use “windows powertoys” to resize images. It is fast and simple, just select the pictures, right click, and tell it to resize. You get a few basic options out of it.

okay thanks!

I think photobucket can re size them automatically when I upload so i’ll try that next time, and of course i’ll check out that blog on posting pics.
