I wish I had been there tonight. I just got off the phone with my brother who is still living back home and it’s party time in Vancouver tonight. He said the cops are planning tp keep the Pubs closed tonight, but that won’t stop the Party

60 minutes of entertainment
1 gold metal

I think is the official price tag
now all we have to do is pay for these games

I hope Gordon Campbell is proud of himself for all he has taken away from the people of BC to have this event. It makes me sick to think of all the jobs lost in BC and then having ecerything made in China instead of Canada.
Thats why I live here in the States now.

Excellent – semi results and now the final result posted in the forum title.

Thanks once again for spoiling the result for those of us that hadn’t watched the match yet – there are people in other time zones that couldn’t watch it live you know.

Seems like the only solution is to unsubscribe to this forum – nice one.

the investment in these games has resulted in more than medals for our sports’ elite – it has united the world in Spirit and empowered us all to strive for higher goals. It warms my heart to watch the camaraderie amongst the athletes and fans. PRICELESS. (my blog)

The game was a nail-biter. I wouldn’t want to endure that stress every day. Phew!
