Topic tags/keywords: question jig planer

Hey LJ’s!

You guys convinced me. gotta change planer blades. This is my first time and I realize I need the knife setting tool. This is the older model delta 22-540 planer knives alignment tool v2.

Looking for the planer blade tool.

I need to know where I can find one.

Otherwise I have to make one from a Youtube video.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks

I’ll tell you, that gauge is next to useless (at least it was for me). You’ll probably do a lot better with a pair of these, which is what I wound up buying (let them go when I sold the planer). Those are available from other places, that was just the first link when I searched for them.

Thanks Fred, Jim and Brad,

Found the mini planer pal on Amazon. And they are ordered. Great reviews for this old planer, I can use them on my joiner if necessary too.

I appreciate your knowledge.
