I just got a large slab of cherry that’s begging to be made into a piece of furniture. At some point I will need to sand it and I was planning on starting that process with my 4X24 Craftsman belt sander. I’ve been reading about belt sander frames and they look pretty useful but I can’t find one that says its made for mine. I could always do this without a frame, but I’d rather not try if I don’t have to. Do anyone out there know where I could find one that fits mine. I’d settle for plans for a DIY frame.

A lot of the frames have been discontinued. It’s a shame. I’m fairly certain Craftsman never made one. If you can find one you maybe able to adapt one. Makita still makes on but you have to get someone to ship from the UK or I think Canada. I talked to someone from Makita a few months ago.
