Whichever it is, the carving is beautiful. None of my hunting guns ever looked half that good. – lol

Learn something new every day. I haven’t hunted for several years and had no idea anyone made a .307.

A .307 is basically a rimmed .308 with thicker walls. Not really common.

great carving..I always wonndered why the 307 never really caught on..(a 308 in a lever) Gave woods hunters a little more power than a 30-30. But I guess deer are what most folks hunt, so the extra power wasn’t really needed. Thanks for sharing this
