Here is a great deal for anyone interested in getting a Shopsmith. This one comes loaded. I have no affiliation with the seller. Just saw it on craigslist. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/tls/1621222038.html -- Oldworld, Fair Oaks, Ca |

He has been advertising it for several days. There was also a nice old one for $250 up earlier. Obviously not as nice as this one but functional . Here is a link to the older one…. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/tls/1620754249.html -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

With its type “B” headstock it is at least 18 years old. It is probably an even older model 500 that has been upgraded to the 510 configuration. The “clue” is the fact that the bandsaw and jointer are 500 vintage accessories. If the owner had also upgraded the bandsaw and jointer, this would not be a bad deal – not great, but OK, as there does not appear to be any rust. The 6” x 48” belt sander is an added plus. -- "Heaven is North of the Bridge" |
