Woodenboat.com, has a lot of boat plans and advertisers selling everything from “kits” to detail drawings on smallboats ,canoes, salboats etc.. Pretty cool magazine I just recently started picking up at my local bookstore. Good Luck!

Are you looking for strip canoe plans or traditional canvas?

I can vouch for the Bear Mountain plans to a certain extent. I built my canoe with a guy who customized the plans off of the 16’ Prospector plans from Bear Mountain. He worked out some changes with the boat designer (Steve Killing) and I believe they collaborated on some Kayak designs.

It’s a great thing to build and a ton of fun out on the water.

Get some extra hands when you’re ready to epoxy on the fiberglass….it can be a bit like juggling.

The pictures are up on my project…I’m working on documenting the whole process on my blog.

Ask Woodcanuck. He just built one. It’s in the projects section.
