Topic tags/keywords: jointer rockwell rockwell international rockwell international jointer question joining milling

Hello, Guys,
Few days ago I checked into a Craiglist posting to buy tools.. i was particularly looking for a jointer (used) one. I came across this guy from Vermont who was a builder who had some serious health problem. Anyways, he has some very good tolls that I am considering to buy. But, he has an old 4” Rockwell international jointer which was rusted a little on the surface, and he doesn’t have the manual for it. I haven’t been around the old good woodworker in San Antonio to witness soem of these old tools, niether hae seen them before. I know that Rockler made some very good tools and if soem one gets their hands on then, he/she is very lucky.
Anyways, I am hoping that some of you guys that lie in the states that most of the great woodworkers coem from might be able to shed some light on this. I’ll try to find out the model number and the serial number to see if we can find something. i already tried the old woodworking tools site and nothing and googling didn’t help either. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
