Im a new wood turner as well as a new blogger. I have posted a picture of my 3rd turning project this week a got a great response. So I figured I would see If there are tips or secrets on finding the correct compound miter angles for staves. I have some good design ideas that require staves but Im lost. I have seen the formula but thought there might be an easier way. Please HELP.

You can calculate the settings if you are a math whiz I bought Malcom Tibbets book “the art of segmented wood turning” off Amazon . There is a table for tapered staves in the back as well as a good section on it in the book.
