I have started my shop in an old garage and an oversized “chicken Coup” type shed. I bought this house (a farmhouse about 100 years old) in October of last year as a remodel project. The house is structurally sound but needs some basic upgrades.
I started shopping for tools, using my woodworking and remodeling background from years past (I have some catching up to do). I have run across some unbelievably good buys using online auctions and Craigslist, an auction site (EverythingButTheHouse) and of course, good ole “Woodcraft”.
It’s fun buying tools but now I need to start producing some finished work (primarily custom period interior trim). Now, fi it would just get warm enough to feel my fingers as I set up for the cuts!

I know exactly where you are coming from … finally put an electric heater in the shop/garage so I can work out there in cold weather.

Good luck and have fun!
