I’ve always used hard maple and walnut for cutting boards, but I came across some ash, and was wondering if it would be ok to use for cutting boards?

Thanks in advance!

I use ash all the time for face grain cutting boards. It sucks for end grain boards.

I have one in my projects that my wife has used for a couple years.
