Topic tags/keywords: pals kit

my old delta contractors saw was a whole kerf outta alignment last year ( seems a piece of wood was jammed on the motor and when turning to 45 degrees it pushed the blade way outs alignment)and it was a real pain to get it right, hammer, clamps, trunnion bolts that I had to find by feel but 4 hours and some skinned knuckles later I got it…I just installed a PALS kit and in 10 minutes its perfectly aligned.. anyone else use PALS? thanx

Had them on my previous saw – a Craftsman 113.something. They worked great.

I put them on my old GI 50-185…they offered a lot of benefit for ~ $20!

I had a Delta 34-441 contractor saw and knocked it out of alignment. I worked on it for a week and couldn’t get the damn thing straight. Bought a set of PALS (which someone described as $2 for the hardware, and $18+ for the idea) and had it aligned in 30 minutes to about .002”. They are marvelous, and worth every penny.
