Topic tags/keywords: question sander

I just purchased one of these from a Pawn-Shop, S1Z90JS. I have researched enough to know that it is made by Ridgid, sold through Home Depot with some modifications. Home Depot does not carry the replacement sanding tubes or parts. It is a good buy except for the heavy, plastic base which I will modify to give it more stability and mount it to a rolling table like I have done with all my other machines.

Can anyone fill me in on this machine, do you own one? I need a website to get Instruction Manual (I promise to only use it for decoration). Hints, History, Place to get parts when needed,How did this machine get to the public, etc.

I have the Ridgid EB4244 OSS/OBS, and am generally pleased with the value of it. AFAIK, sanding sleeves from other manufacturers will fit.

They’re all the same. Grizzly is your best bets for parts. If it craps out completely but the same piece of crap from Harboring Fright.
