One team from California took a plane to New York and rented an RV travel to Plaster Rock NB and after the got there they had no heat so it took only a few minutes for people from PR to give them electric heaters and while they were playing a furnace guy came and fix their furnace for nothing so they could go back with heat, they love the people here that is why they come back every year.

Hi GMman
I have been following Pond Hockey since it began in Plaster Rock. Nice village and event. Close to where you live also.

Hard to believe the amount of people coming from all over the world.
That was started to get enough money to build an Arena and they have build their very nice Arena now but it is impossible to stop the pond hockey now they have teams booked for years ahead.
Plaster Rock is a very small village, but they have lots of sports camps on the Tobique River that they open up for the players.

Have your say...
