I’ve been in the market for a ROS for a bit. While I don’t have the budget right now to get the PC I really want, I saw this guy on tooliday for $35 and couldn’t refuse it. Even if I just use it for a backup in the future, it seems like a good deal at half-price (lowes.com).

John,

How is the ROS holding up the last 6 months? Was it worth the 35 bucks?

I’ve used it on several projects and it’s trucking right along. It’s not the most refined beast, but it was WELL WORTH the $35 I spent on it. If I had to buy another ROS right now I would consider buying this one again at full toolking price ($55).

I bought a recip saw like that three years ago and it is still kicking…just used it to cut up an unwanted pool table. Glad to hear its worth the price.
