Topic tags/keywords: dovetail jig

Anybody know where I could possibly find a video demonstration or tutorial for this jig. The Manual is giving me a headache and I would like to do dovetails on the Woodworkers Fight Cancer build.

Kerry, Sorry I don’t know where a video is. on my Craftsmen Jig the jig was held on with spacers & wing nuts. I stuck 2 Scraps in at the same time. Ran my router, checked the fit, move spacer 1/4 turns, repeat till i had the fit I wanted. The router’s bit depth is important for proper fit. Took approx 2 hours to get a good fit. with NO instructions. Just trial & error. After I had the fit I wanted I left there, but I learned along the way how to adjust, so if i ever have to move it then I have some understanding where to begin.

Podcast #20. Download it so you can blow it up to fullscreen size.

I have this jig and found just a few minutes of trial and error got me a perfect fit. Essentially, once you load the wood right, the only adjustment required is bit depth.

Porter Cable has several videos and advanced manuals on this site.

-- Robert, I don't understand everything I know about this.
