Hello, is there anyone who has a Stanley number 1 plane? What I am looking for are the dimensions of the front knob. I want to know what size the threaded rod is, and the dimensions for the knob itself, how high, diameter, etc.

What type is the plane? they used different threads at different times.

Hello James, the plane is a type 1, has the ‘S’ in the base of the plane.

WOW! that is a collectors piece! Only made between 1867-1869. I do not have one of those to check for you My oldest is a type 2 #4. None of my references have thread sizes on that sorry.
