Hey everyone, Just wanted to stop in and introduce my self,

I have been a gear head my whole life I always like to see what goes into things and what makes things work. Ive been into cars and motorcycles for the longest time. Recently My father in law who does a lot of woodworking told me he knows Im a car guy but he is going to get me into woodworking. I have found it to be pretty fun and am learning allot of stuff as I go. I have an older table saw that he handed down to me an old craftsman 9” that gets the job done for my projects so far. Looking forward to meeting some fellow woodworkers and learning allot!

Welcome aboard!!! as a recovering gear-head myself, Let me tell you it’s changed my life, there is an entire new set of tools to collect…. :P Good luck and remember it won’t happen over night, but at some point you will look back and smile at that thing you just made that you never thought you could ever do. Its the best feeling in the world.

Like XquietflyX, welcome aboard. I also have to agree you’ll get a lot of satisfaction from the things you build. Lots of folks here are always willing to offer advice.
