I just saved a bunch of beautiful doors and casings from an old four square that was being torn down. The living room and dining room were all oak but the rest of the house was this lighter wood. I couldn’t get enough to redo all the rooms I want so I am trying to figure out how to match it. It was all right straight grain with no knots. If it helps, I am in northern WI so I assume it’s a native type here. I think the house was about 100 years old.
