My PM1000 Table saw! Woo Hoo! I was so excited yesterday when it was delivered. My son helped me get it down the stairs. We slid it on it’s side. Easy peasey. Once I removed the oil off the table, I noticed some scratches and scuffs here and there. I checked the wings and they were perfect. Not cool. I contacted Powermatic tech support. I sent them pics of the damage and they are sending me a new table out tomorrow. Yay. Here’s some pics of the nicks and scuffs. I might be too picky, but not at the price I paid! I want to put my own nicks and scuffs in it. lol The rest of the saw is immaculate! I can’t believe how easy the hand wheels turn. Trying to figure out what I should do with the other table. You send a steak back no matter how perfectly it’s cooked don’t you? Paul |

Congrats on the saw. Those scratches do seem on the minor side, nice of them to step up and send another. Hopefully, it will serve you well for many years. |

Hardly worth packing
One has to choose, either a bit of under/over/cooked/salted stake or the stake that was spit on. -- It's nice! |

Did you have to return the old top? You could sell it to someone who needs one and recoup a little money. -- still trying to think of a clever signature...... |

Wonderful new toy, uh, tool. That’s as purty as they come. |

Seriously? You know it’s going to get more scratched up just from use. Why bother? |

Yeah, I kinda agree, I’m thinking you got your panties in a wad over nothing much. It doesn’t look all that bad. I had a girlfriend that didn’t look nearly that good even after a bunch of beer. |

No I don’t have to return the top. Good idea about selling though. -- Chuck, Michigan, |
