I’m designing an entertainment center for our new TV and have run into a slight snag with the drawing and wondering if anyone has any insights.

I have gotten the casework drawings complete, but am working on the details now. I want a simple bullnose profile around the top of the case. I have the basic profile done, but am stuck on how to wrap it around the case top with miters.

Is there a tool I am missing?

Any insights on how to do this would be appreciated.

I think what you want is the “Follow Me” tool – try a google search fo that one, I’ve used it to do the same thing you’re talking about here.

Ok thanks. I’ll give it a shot, see how it goes.

draw the profile (must be a face on a closed profile shape) on one of the edges perpindicular to the path (preferebly not at a corner) , select the path edges on all the sides of the top with the select tool holding down the shift key, get the follow me tool and select the profile shape.

Have your say...
