Sketchup assistance

I think what you want is the “Follow Me” tool – try a google search fo that one, I’ve used it to do the same thing you’re talking about here.

Ok thanks. I’ll give it a shot, see how it goes.

draw the profile (must be a face on a closed profile shape) on one of the edges perpindicular to the path (preferebly not at a corner) , select the path edges on all the sides of the top with the select tool holding down the shift key, get the follow me tool and select the profile shape.
